89 Days to Fame – Other than Andrea, Cindy, Mike and Quinton, I only know my fellow team members in passing so I’m looking forward to their blogs. I made my decision on December 3 after a lot of thought and research and will compete in the “Age 50+ Figure” division. I’ve chosen to go into this with a sense of adventure and having a fairly good idea of what I’m in for (I followed the team closely last year, to the point of developing sympathy sickness at times); I’m going to work hard to keep a sense of humour, my attitude positive and my complaining to an absolute minimum.
My first official training with Andrea on December 7 had me hooked: I love training each body part to the point of failure and I look forward to every training session. Training schedule for now is:
Monday – Training with Andrea and FITT ladies, Deb, Tracey and Mel
Tuesday – Becky’s “Get on the Ball” Class
Wednesday – Training with Andrea
Thursday – cardio day
Friday- Training with Devin
Saturday (weigh-in day) and Sunday – rest/recovery days
I’m hoping to squeeze a yoga class in once a week for a change of pace.
Weigh-Ins: December 3 – 119 lbs.; December 31 – 119.5 lbs.; January 6 – 116.5 lbs.; January 14 – 116.5 lbs.
For the most part, I’m a healthy eater with one exception; (Confession #1– I love Ruffles plain potato chips and have been known to eat a Super-Size bag each night for 4 days in a row with absolutely no guilt). But so far…no “diet” issues – no cravings yet. Even the drinking of 4 litres of water each day hasn’t been too difficult; the human bladder is an amazing organ… I’m certainly more aware of where all the clean public washrooms are! I’m thoroughly enjoying the required tanning – a great perk….and the waxing….well now… that could be an entirely separate blog.

Way to go wendy! It sounds like you are having an awesome kick start! Cant wait to keep reading the blogs!
Your Blog rocks as do you Miss Wendy!!!
